브이에스티피 디자인은 버추얼사운드트랙 프로젝트의 줄임말입니다. 처음 브이에스티피 디자인의 뜻은 알 수 없는 소리의 여행으로 우리가 사는 도시의 작은 모퉁이라도 디자인으로의 여행을 떠나보겠다는 작은 이야기의 시작 입니다. 갱태원이라고 불리던 이태원에서 브이에스티피 디자인이 시작 되었습니다. 그래피티를 시작으로 했지만, 점점 그림 그릴 곳이 사라지고 그래피티는 범죄라는 공식이 시작 될 쯤 브이에스티피는 다른 곳으로 그들의 디자인을 이동하기로 마음먹었습니다. 우리는 도시의 벽과 캔버스에서 컴퓨터 그래픽으로 자연스럽게 이동 했습니다. 단순한 것이 최고라는 우리의 생각으로 시작한 한국 첫 도메스틱브랜드이자 언더그라운드 브랜드입니다. 처음으로 시작한 브랜드 제이기어 에슬러틱스 와 디나인그래피카 입니다. 그것은 첫번째 브이에스티피 만의 프로젝트로 디나인과 제이케이의 디자인의 시작이기도 합니다. 우리가 처음 만들었던 트리플 제이크루와 투포포크루에서부터 반달 아트펙토리를 거처 브이에스티피까지 이태원에서 시작된 조인입니다. 지금은 떨어져 있지만 언제나 같은 크루인 디나인과 저는 지금 각자의 길로 새로운 일을 하고 있습니다. 잠시 동안, 혹은 오래가 될지도 모르지만 브이에스티피는 이제 혼자입니다. 우리는 상투적인 이야기를 싫어합니다. 예술 혹은 예술인들, 아티스트라는 소리는 잘 모르겠습니다. 우리는 우리가 하고 싶은 디자인을 합니다. 예술은 나중에 먼 훗날 그날이 온다면 꼭 돈 많이 벌면 그 때 해보겠습니다. 지금은 우리만의 디자인 하는 것이 좋습니다. 우리는 이태원 작은 공장에서 디자인을 만들고 있습니다. 술, 담배, 여자를 사랑하고 스케이트보드 와 비엠엑스 힙합을 즐기는 우리는 공장의 기술자입니다. 복잡한 포장, 그런 것을 다 버리고 간단하고 실용적이게 디자인 하려고 노력합니다. 심플한 것이 최고라는 생각으로 갱태원이라고 불리는 이태원 시티에서 제이케이 입니다.
